Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice applies to the current public Barmentech Technology website, its localized public pages, the Contact form, the Request a call flow, the Privacy Request intake, records created from those submissions, operational communications, and basic hosting and security logs.

It does not automatically apply to future authenticated products, client systems, or other services unless they expressly identify this Notice. This Notice will be reviewed before Barmentech materially adds analytics, advertising pixels, nonessential cookies, authentication, payments, document uploads, customer accounts, or material new automated processing.

Information you submit through the Contact form may include your full name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, company, service of interest, inquiry message, selected language, and privacy acknowledgement. For a Request a call, the same form asks for a phone or WhatsApp number and records the selected call-request topic with the message. The form also includes a field designed to identify automated spam submissions.

When an inquiry or privacy request is handled, Barmentech creates operational records such as the submitted information, the applicable language, a submission timestamp, and records needed to manage communications. Privacy Request submissions include email address, request type, optional message, language, privacy acknowledgement, and related operational records.

Technical information may be processed for operation or security. Depending on the request and infrastructure involved, this may include IP address, browser or user-agent information, timestamps, requested routes, email-delivery events, and security or diagnostic logs. Barmentech does not state that every infrastructure provider collects every technical category.

Do not submit passwords or authentication credentials, payment-card or banking information, identity documents, government identification numbers, tax or financial records, confidential corporate records, proprietary datasets, production credentials, source-code secrets, API keys, or other sensitive documents or access information through the public website. When sensitive information is legitimately required for an accepted service, Barmentech will provide an appropriate separate channel.

Barmentech may use information to receive, review, and respond to inquiries; understand the requested Technology service; process requests for a call; communicate about a potential project; send operational confirmations; maintain inquiry and privacy-request records; protect forms and services against spam, abuse, fraud, or security threats; diagnose and maintain website operations; comply with applicable obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims when necessary.

Submitting an inquiry does not automatically create a client, contractual, legal, tax, accounting, financial, or other professional relationship, and does not confirm availability, price, approval, or any outcome.

Selecting Request a call or submitting a call request does not automatically schedule or guarantee a call. Barmentech uses the contact information supplied to review the request and communicate about suitable next steps.

The Contact form identifies required and optional fields. Before submission, a visitor must affirmatively confirm that they have read this Privacy Notice and agree that Barmentech may use the submitted information to review and respond to the inquiry. A Request a call also requires a phone or WhatsApp number.

Where consent is requested or relied upon, it may be withdrawn for future processing, subject to applicable obligations and permitted retention. Withdrawal does not automatically require deletion of information retained for legitimate operational, contractual, security, dispute, or legal reasons. If required information is not provided, Barmentech may be unable to receive or evaluate the inquiry through the form.

Barmentech does not sell or rent personal information. It may use service providers for hosting or infrastructure, database or storage, transactional email, and security or operational support. The transactional email component used for Technology submissions uses Resend when email delivery is configured.

Service providers may process information only as necessary for their assigned function, subject to their terms and applicable contractual or legal obligations. Barmentech may also disclose information when required by law or lawful process, to protect rights or security, investigate abuse, or complete a legitimate corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Barmentech LLC operates in connection with the United States and Costa Rica. Service providers may process information in other jurisdictions, where privacy and data-protection rules may differ. Barmentech does not guarantee that information remains exclusively in Costa Rica or exclusively in the United States.

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for inquiry review, follow-up, operational records, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, applicable obligations, or the establishment or defense of claims. Retention may change if a visitor becomes a client; client information may then be governed by the applicable agreement or product-specific notice.

Information no longer required should be deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of where appropriate. Deletion requests remain subject to applicable operational, contractual, security, backup, fraud-prevention, dispute-related, and legal requirements.

Barmentech uses safeguards appropriate to its current public operation, including server-side validation, restricted operational access, transport encryption when deployed through HTTPS, honeypot and rate-limiting controls, security headers, controlled email delivery, and access based on operational need. No system or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may request confirmation of whether Barmentech holds your information; access; correction or updating; deletion or suppression; withdrawal of consent for future processing; and information about use and recipients. You may submit a request through the intake below or contact support@barmentech.com.

Submitting a privacy request records the request but does not mean that a requested action has already been completed. Barmentech may need to verify a requester’s identity or clarify scope before acting, and will provide a separate secure channel if documentation is legitimately necessary. Do not send identity documents or other sensitive records through the public form or ordinary email.

The Technology website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. Barmentech does not knowingly seek personal information from children without appropriate authorization and does not perform age verification through this website.

If Barmentech learns that information from a child was collected without appropriate authorization, it will take appropriate steps under the circumstances. A parent or legal representative may contact support@barmentech.com.

The current public Barmentech Technology website does not intentionally use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral-advertising technologies. The Contact and Privacy Request forms do not store submitted form content in browser cookies or local storage.

Hosting and security infrastructure may process technical logs or use strictly necessary security mechanisms. A nonessential-cookie banner is not currently displayed because no nonessential-cookie system has been implemented. This Notice will be reviewed before analytics, advertising pixels, nonessential cookies, authentication, or similar tracking functionality is introduced.

The website links to the Barmentech Formation website and may display configured links to WhatsApp, social-network profiles, or a booking service. These independent services have their own privacy practices. Barmentech does not control their processing after you leave the Barmentech Technology website.

Barmentech may update this Notice when its operations, providers, features, or applicable requirements materially change. The date at the top identifies the published version of this Notice.
